Bar:

BAR is a coastal city in southern Montenegro, whose municipality has about 40,000 inhabitants. The population of BAR consists of 25 nationalities, which is why it is known for its multi-ethnicity. Bar is also the largest Montenegrin port and Montenegro's link to the world as it borders Italy on the Adriatic Sea.
The city's geographical location is between the Adriatic Sea and Lake Skadar. With 270 sunny days a year, Bar is one of the sunniest cities in Europe. It is surrounded by the high mountains Rumija, Sutorman and Lisinj. Due to the ideal sea temperature that reaches 26 degrees in summer, long hot summers and beaches with a total length of 9 km, Bar is one of the main tourist destinations in the country.
The old part of Bar, mentioned in documents from the 9th century, with its wonderful panorama over the whole city and an unforgettable view of the sea, is one of the many tourist attractions in the municipality of Bar. At the entrance to the old town, there is an old olive tree between 2000 and 2500 years old, the oldest olive tree in the world and the symbol of the city of Bar.
